Setup

1. Hydrating Gelfire Rounds

Gelfire rounds come dehydrated. To prepare them for use, add water to the rounds in a container. Allow sufficient time for the rounds to fully hydrate and expand. This process typically takes a few hours. Ensure the rounds are fully submerged and expanded before loading them into the blaster.

2. Loading the Blasters

Each blaster features a 100-round capacity integrated hopper. To load, open the hopper lid and carefully pour the hydrated Gelfire rounds into the hopper. Close the lid securely after loading. Do not overfill the hopper.

3. Wearing Protective Eyewear

Always wear the included protective eyewear when operating the blasters or when in the vicinity of active play. This is crucial for eye safety.

Operating the Blasters

Firing

The Nerf Pro Gelfire blasters feature instant, no-prime firing. Simply pull the trigger to fire a Gelfire round. There is no need for batteries or manual priming. You can hold and fire one blaster in each hand for dual-wielding action.

Trigger Lock

Each blaster is equipped with a trigger lock mechanism for safety. Engage the trigger lock when the blaster is not in use to prevent accidental firing. Disengage the trigger lock before firing.

Maintenance

Cleaning

After use, wipe down the blasters with a damp cloth to remove any residue. Ensure no Gelfire rounds or debris remain in the hopper or firing mechanism. Do not submerge the blasters in water.

Storage

Store blasters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep unhydrated Gelfire rounds in their original sealed packaging or an airtight container to prevent premature hydration. Dispose of any unused hydrated rounds responsibly, as they are biodegradable.

Troubleshooting

Blaster Jams

If the blaster jams, ensure that the Gelfire rounds are properly hydrated and not over-hydrated (which can make them too soft and sticky). Clear any visible obstructions from the hopper or firing area. Do not force the trigger if a jam occurs.

Rounds Not Firing Correctly

Verify that the Gelfire rounds are fully hydrated. Under-hydrated rounds may not fire with sufficient velocity or accuracy. Ensure the hopper is adequately filled and the trigger lock is disengaged.
