5. Setup Guide

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the walkie talkie is powered off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  3. Align the 1600mAh Li-ion battery with the contacts inside the compartment.
  4. Gently push the battery into place until it clicks securely.
  5. Replace the battery cover.

5.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the walkie talkies. The RB667 supports USB-C charging.

  1. Connect the included 2-in-1 USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on each walkie talkie.
  2. Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB adapter, PC, power bank).
  3. The charging indicator on the walkie talkie will show the charging status. Refer to the LCD display for battery level.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

To power on or off the walkie talkie, press and hold the power button located on the side or top of the unit until the LCD screen illuminates or turns off.

The RB667 has 16 PMR446 channels. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons on the front panel to select your desired channel. Ensure all radios in your group are on the same channel for communication.

The VOX function allows for hands-free transmission. When enabled, the radio will automatically transmit when it detects your voice, eliminating the need to press the PTT button.
