Note: Batteries are not shipped with the product due to shipping regulations. Please purchase them separately from a local store.
3.2 Pairing the Remote Controller
For 2.4G wireless operation, the remote controller must be paired with the scoreboard. Follow these steps:
- Initial Check: Press and hold any button on the remote. If the indicator light on the remote stays on, the device is already paired, and no further pairing is required. If the indicator light does not stay constantly lit, proceed with the pairing steps below.
- Power Cycle Scoreboard: Turn off the scoreboard using the switch on its back, then turn it back on.
- Initiate Pairing: Within 10 seconds after the scoreboard powers on, simultaneously press and hold the "Foul+" and "Timer Out+" buttons on the remote control for 5 seconds.
- Confirmation: If the indicator light on the remote flashes, it indicates successful pairing. The remote is now ready for use in 2.4G mode.
Important Note for Multiple Scoreboards: If you need to pair this remote with multiple scoreboards, ensure that only the scoreboard you intend to pair is powered on during the pairing process. Turn off any other scoreboards to prevent unintended pairing. The pairing steps remain consistent for each scoreboard.
