5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, ensure the solar panel receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge the internal battery. The lights will not operate optimally without an initial full charge.
5.2 Choosing a Location
Select a location for the solar panel that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Avoid areas shaded by trees, buildings, or other obstructions. For the spotlight, choose a position that effectively illuminates your desired area.

5.3 Assembly and Installation Methods
The T-SUNUS RGB Solar Landscape Spotlights offer two primary installation methods:
- Ground Insertion:
- Attach the ground stake to the bottom of the solar panel and the spotlight unit.
- Firmly insert the assembled units into soft ground in your desired location.
- Wall Mounting:
- Use the provided screws and wall plugs to secure the mounting bracket of the spotlight and/or solar panel to a wall or fence.
- Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the weight of the unit.
After installation, connect the solar panel cable to the spotlight cable. Ensure the connection is secure. The 9.8ft cable allows for flexible positioning of the solar panel relative to the spotlight.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The spotlight features a single button for control, typically located on the back of the solar panel unit.
- To Turn On: Long press the switch button for approximately 3 seconds. The light will activate.
- To Change Color Mode: After turning on, short press the switch button to cycle through the available color modes. There are 6 color changing modes and fixed color modes (Red, Green, Blue, Indigo, Purple, and a warm color).
- To Turn Off: Long press the switch button again for approximately 3 seconds.

6.2 Automatic Dusk-to-Dawn Operation
Once powered on and a color mode is selected, the spotlights will automatically detect ambient light levels. They will turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, conserving battery life.
6.3 Testing the Light (Daytime)
To test the light during the day, completely cover the solar panel with your hand for a few seconds. The light should turn on, allowing you to verify its functionality and chosen color mode.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures optimal charging efficiency.
- Positioning: Periodically check the solar panel's position to ensure it still receives maximum direct sunlight, especially after seasonal changes or plant growth.
- Battery: The built-in Lithium-Ion battery is designed for long-term use. If the light duration significantly decreases over time, it may indicate the battery is reaching the end of its lifespan. Battery replacement is not user-serviceable.
- Environmental Durability: The IP65 rating ensures resistance to rain, snow, and temperature fluctuations (-20°C to 50°C). No special winterization is typically required, but clearing heavy snow from the solar panel will aid charging.
