1. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to correctly assemble your Ingenuity InLighten Soothing Baby Swing & Rocker. For a visual guide, please refer to the official assembly video below.

Assembly Steps:

1. Base Frame Assembly: Insert the right and left leg tubes into the swing head assembly. Ensure they click securely into place.
2. Front Foot Installation: Attach the right and left front feet into their corresponding leg tubes, pushing until they click.
3. Swing Arm Attachment: Insert the swing arm assembly into the swing head assembly and secure it by screwing in the two M5 Phillips Head screws and M5 nuts.
4. Cross Brace Connection: Insert the cross brace assembly into the holes on the back of the right and left leg tubes. Extend the cross brace to ensure the unit sits stably.
5. Rocker Base Assembly: Insert the left and right rocker base assembly tubes into each other.
6. Hub Assemblies: Insert the left and right side hub assemblies into the ends of the rocker base assemblies until they click.
7. Foot Rest Tube: Insert the foot rest tube into the open holes on either side of the left and right hub assemblies.
8. Vibration Unit Battery: Install one 1.5V C battery (not included) into the vibe unit.
9. Vibration Unit Placement: Slide the vibe unit onto the front of the foot rest tube.
10. Seat Pad Installation: Insert the seat pad with bolster and back rest tube onto the back of the left and right side hub assemblies' open slots. Ensure all straps are clicked into place.
11. Seat Attachment to Swing: Add the completed seat onto the swing arm assembly by pushing and clicking firmly into place.
12. Mobile Assembly: Insert and twist the mobile above the seat and onto the swing head assembly. Attach the two included toys (rabbit and leaf) onto the mobile.
13. Power Connection: Connect the USB cable (included) to the corresponding cable on the back of the right leg tube. A wall adapter is not included.

3. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your swing and rocker.

• Toy Bar and Toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Seat Pad: Remove the seat pad from the frame. Fasten all buckles on the seat restraint and seat pad. Fasten all hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry using low heat.
• Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
• Storage: When storing the swing, always keep it in a dry location, away from any heat sources, and out of direct sunlight.

The seat pad features machine-washable fabrics for convenient cleaning.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the common problems and solutions below.

• Swing Not Operating: Ensure the USB cord is securely plugged into both the swing and a compatible wall adapter (not included). Check if the power outlet is functional. If using the vibration feature, ensure a fresh 1C battery is correctly installed.
• Sounds/Lights Not Working: Verify the power connection. Check the volume settings on the control panel or remote. Ensure the mobile is properly twisted into place for the light show.
• Swing Motion is Weak/Inconsistent: Confirm the swing is on a flat, stable surface. Check the swing speed setting and increase if necessary. Ensure no obstructions are hindering the swing's movement.
• Seat Not Reclining: Ensure the recline adjustment mechanism is free of obstructions and is being operated correctly by pressing the release buttons.
