3. Product Overview
The AAXA HP-P6X-01 is a portable DLP projector designed for various applications, featuring a built-in battery and multiple input options.

3.1. Projector Components

4. Setup
4.1. Powering On/Off
- Connect the wall charger to the DC-IN 19V port on the projector and then to a power outlet. The projector can also operate on its internal battery.
- Press and hold the power button on the projector or remote control for a few seconds to turn it on.
- To turn off, press and hold the power button again until the projector shuts down.
4.2. Placement and Screen Size
Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. The distance from the projector to the screen or wall will determine the image size. The HP-P6X-01 can project an image from 10 inches up to 160 inches diagonally.
- Minimum Throw Distance: 0.53 feet (for a 10-inch image).
- Maximum Throw Distance: 12 feet (for a 160-inch image).
4.3. Focus Adjustment
After positioning the projector, rotate the focus wheel located near the lens until the projected image appears sharp and clear.

5.1. Navigating the Menu

Use the control keypad on the projector or the remote control to navigate the on-screen menu. The directional buttons (up, down, left, right) are used to move between options, and the 'OK' or 'Enter' button is used to select.
5.2. Connecting External Devices
The projector supports various input sources:
- HDMI: Connect your laptop, streaming device, or gaming console using an HDMI cable to the 'DIGITAL INPUT' port. Select 'HDMI' as the input source from the projector's menu.
- USB: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. Navigate to the 'Media Player' section and select 'USB' to browse and play files.
- TF Card: Insert a Micro SD card into the TF Card slot. Navigate to the 'Media Player' section and select 'TF Card' to browse and play files.
- AV: Connect older devices like DVD players using the provided Composite AV cable to the 'AV' port. Select 'AV' as the input source.
5.3. Media Playback
The onboard media player supports direct playback of photos and videos from USB flash drives or TF cards. Supported video encoding includes AVC.
5.4. Brightness Modes
The projector offers different brightness modes to optimize power consumption and image output:
- ECO Mode: Reduces brightness for extended battery life.
- STANDARD Mode: Balanced brightness for general use.
- BOOST Mode: Maximum brightness (1,100 lumens) when plugged into AC power.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Lens
Gently wipe the projector lens with a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
6.2. Cleaning the Vents
Periodically use a soft brush or compressed air to clean dust from the ventilation grilles to ensure proper heat dissipation.
6.3. Battery Care
To prolong the life of the internal lithium-ion battery:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Store the projector in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Charge the battery at least once every three months if stored.
