Daily Cleaning:

  • Discard Grounds: After the carafe has cooled, remove the dripper cover, dripper, and mesh filter. Discard used coffee grounds.
  • Wash Removable Parts: Wash the dripper cover, dripper, mesh filter, water tank, and glass carafe with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed):

To remove mineral deposits, descale your coffee maker regularly. Use a commercial descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).

  1. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution or vinegar mixture.
  2. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
  3. Run a brewing cycle without coffee grounds.
  4. After the cycle, let the solution sit in the carafe for 15-30 minutes.
  5. Discard the solution and rinse the carafe and water tank thoroughly.
  6. Run 2-3 cycles with fresh water only to flush out any remaining descaling solution.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your coffee maker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Problem: Dripper cover does not close.
Solution: Ensure the dripper and mesh filter are correctly set. Push the dripper all the way in, and align the mesh filter with the concave position of the dripper.
  • Problem: Dripper cover opens during use, and the indicator light blinks and stops.
Solution: Ensure the dripper cover is correctly set to the locked position. Push the dripper cover until it locks securely, ensuring the entire button on the left side is protruding outwards.
  • Problem: When pulling out the dripper, parts become loose and cannot be reassembled.
Solution: The dripper valve may come off when pulling out the dripper. Please contact customer support for assistance.
  • Problem: Some coffee beans remain unground.
Solution: Are the bean quantity and grinding time appropriate? Adjust the grinding time according to the bean quantity. Due to the propeller-type mill used in this product, some coffee beans may remain unground inside the dripper. This is a characteristic of the mill type.
  • Problem: After washing, the dripper cover's locking tab is stuck inwards, preventing the cover from closing.
Solution: The locking mechanism for the dripper cover is designed to move only on one side. Ensure it is not jammed and try to gently reset it.
  • Problem: Coffee overflows from the dripper and leaks onto the table.
Solution: The dripper may not be set correctly (not pushed into the correct position), or the valve part may be clogged with coffee grounds. Check the dripper's position and clean the valve if necessary.
