4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the padlock using the provided USB-C cable. The padlock will remain locked if the battery is depleted. Connect it to a power source to reactivate.

5.1 Unlocking with Fingerprint
Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The padlock will unlock within 0.2 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

- Ensure the padlock is awake (touch the fingerprint sensor if needed) and Bluetooth is active on your phone.
- Open the 'eSmartLock' app and connect to your padlock.

6.1 Charging
Recharge the padlock using the USB-C cable when the battery is low. The app will provide alerts. A full charge typically takes a short period and provides extended use.
6.2 Waterproof Considerations
The padlock has an IPX67 waterproof rating and comes with a protective rubber shell. While suitable for outdoor use, avoid prolonged submersion in water. If unlocking with fingerprints in wet conditions, wipe any water from the fingerprint recognition area and ensure your fingers are dry for optimal performance.

7. Troubleshooting
- Padlock does not lock immediately after unlocking: After unlocking, wait 2-3 seconds before attempting to lock it again.
- Bluetooth connection is not constant: To conserve battery, the Bluetooth function is only active when the lock is awakened (by touching the fingerprint sensor). It will disconnect after successful unlocking.
- Unsure if setup was successful: A new padlock can be unlocked by anyone, and a blue light will flash upon unlocking. Once successfully set up and fingerprints are registered in the app, a green light will flash upon unlocking.
- Remote unlocking: This smart padlock uses Bluetooth and does not connect to Wi-Fi. Direct remote unlocking beyond Bluetooth range (approx. 5m) is not possible. However, you can remotely authorize other users (who have the app) to unlock via Bluetooth within range.
