2. Setup and Initial Winding
Your OLEVS automatic watch is powered by the motion of your wrist. Before initial use or after a period of inactivity, it requires manual winding to build up a power reserve.
- Manual Winding: To initiate the movement, gently rotate the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) clockwise approximately 30-40 times while it is in its normal, pushed-in position. This will provide sufficient power to start the watch.
- Wearing the Watch: Once wound, wear the watch regularly. Normal daily activities will keep the mainspring wound and the watch running accurately. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it will stop and require manual winding again.
3. Operating Instructions
The watch features a crown for time and date adjustments, and two push-buttons for the chronograph function.
3.1 Setting Time and Date
- Adjusting the Date: Gently pull the crown out to the first click position. Turn the crown counterclockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this is when the date change mechanism is engaged and could be damaged.
- Adjusting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click position. Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to set the hour and minute hands. Continue turning until the correct time is displayed. Ensure the 24-hour indicator (often mistaken for a moon phase) is correctly set for AM/PM. Push the crown back into its normal position to start the watch.
3.2 Using the Chronograph (Stopwatch)
The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time.
- Start: Press the button located above the crown to start the chronograph. The chronograph seconds hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press the same button (above the crown) again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands.
- Reset: Press the button located below the crown to reset the chronograph hands to their zero position.

3.3 Luminous Features
The watch hands and hour markers are treated with a luminous material. After exposure to light, they will glow in dark conditions, allowing for time readability.

4.1 Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (98 feet). This rating means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, exposure to rain, and cold water baths. Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals to prevent damage and discoloration. If the leather strap gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.
4.3 Storage
When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. If storing for an extended period, consider using a watch winder to keep the automatic movement running and lubricated.

- Watch Not Running: As an automatic watch, it requires motion to operate. If it has stopped, manually wind it by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times. If it still does not run, it may require servicing.
