Thank you for choosing the Ahuja WP-225 Portable PA System. This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your device. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure safe and efficient performance.

The Ahuja WP-225 is a compact and versatile Public Address (PA) system designed for various indoor and outdoor applications. It features a built-in MP3 player with recording capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, and multiple power options, including an internal rechargeable lithium battery.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Unit

The WP-225 can be powered by three methods:

  1. AC Mains: Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC input on the unit and then to a standard wall outlet.
  2. 12V External Car Battery: Connect a 12V car battery to the designated 12V DC input terminal on the unit. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Internal Rechargeable Lithium Battery: The unit has a built-in 11.1V 2200mAh Li-ion battery. Ensure it is charged before use.

4.2 Charging the Internal Battery

To charge the internal battery, connect the unit to AC mains power. A charging LED indicator will illuminate, indicating that the battery is charging. The indicator will change or turn off once fully charged.

Connect an external audio source, such as a CD player, smartphone, or mixer, to the 3.5mm AUX input jack using an appropriate audio cable.

4.5 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the WP-225 unit.
  2. Switch the unit to Bluetooth mode (refer to the control panel for mode selection).
  3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "Ahuja WP-225" (or similar name) from the list to pair.
  5. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device to the PA system.

4.6 USB/SD Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or an SD card containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot on the control panel. The unit will automatically switch to USB/SD mode or you may need to select it manually.
