1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Fitting

Proper helmet fit is crucial for safety and comfort. Follow these steps to ensure your helmet is correctly adjusted.

2.1 Head Circumference Adjustment

The helmet features a 360-degree adjustable dial at the back to customize the fit to your head circumference. The suggested fit range is 58-62 cm (22.4-24.4 inches).

1. Place the helmet on your head.
2. Turn the adjustment dial clockwise to tighten the fit until the helmet feels snug but comfortable, without excessive pressure.
3. Turn the adjustment dial counter-clockwise to loosen the fit.
4. The helmet should sit level on your head, covering your forehead without tilting back or forward.

2.2 Chin Strap Adjustment

Adjust the chin strap to keep the helmet securely in place.

1. Fasten the quick-release buckle under your chin.
2. Adjust the side straps so that the strap dividers sit just below your ears.
3. Tighten or loosen the chin strap until it is snug, allowing only one or two fingers to fit between the strap and your chin.
4. The helmet should not move excessively when you shake your head.

2.3 Attaching Magnetic Goggles and Sun Visor

The helmet comes with detachable magnetic goggles and a sun visor for versatile use.

• To attach the goggles or visor, align the magnets on the accessory with the corresponding magnets on the helmet. They will snap into place.
• The magnetic goggles are designed to be compatible with myopia glasses, providing eye protection without interfering with personal eyewear (not suitable for large-framed glasses).
• The sun visor can be used to block sun, wind, and sand.

3. Operating the Helmet

Once properly fitted, the helmet is ready for use. The design allows for different configurations based on your riding needs.

• Fast Ride Model: Use with the goggles and visor for protection against wind, dust, and dazzling light during long-distance cycling.
• Slow Ride Model: The lens can be easily turned up for short-distance slow riding.
• Leisure Model: Integrated molding provides a casual and comfortable option for daily recreational riding.
• Break Wind Model: The broken hat brim offers low wind resistance, suitable for fast riding.

4. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your helmet.

• Cleaning the Helmet: Use a soft cloth, mild soap, and water to clean the outer shell and straps. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the helmet's surface or materials.
• Cleaning the Inner Liner: The helmet features a removable inner liner for easy cleaning. Gently detach the liner, hand wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry completely before reattaching.
• Goggle/Visor Care: Clean the magnetic goggles and visor with a soft, lint-free cloth and a lens cleaning solution or mild soap and water. Avoid wiping dry with abrasive materials to prevent scratches.
• Storage: Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not expose the helmet to high heat, as this can damage the EPS foam.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the helmet for any signs of damage, such as cracks in the shell, dents in the foam, or frayed straps. If any damage is found, the helmet should be replaced immediately, as its protective capabilities may be compromised.

5. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your helmet.

• Helmet feels loose after adjustment: Re-check the head circumference adjustment dial and chin strap. Ensure both are tightened sufficiently for a snug fit without discomfort. The helmet should not shift significantly when you move your head.
• Magnetic visor/goggles detach easily: Ensure the magnets on the visor/goggles are clean and free of debris. Verify that the visor/goggles are correctly aligned with the helmet's magnets for a secure attachment. Avoid strong impacts that could dislodge them.
• Goggles do not fit over prescription glasses: While designed for myopia glasses, some large-framed prescription glasses may not fit comfortably under the magnetic goggles. Consider using contact lenses or alternative eyewear if this is an issue.
• Chin strap is uncomfortable: Adjust the position of the side strap dividers to ensure the strap sits comfortably under your chin and around your ears. The soft chin pad should provide cushioning.
• Helmet feels hot or lacks ventilation: Ensure the helmet's vents are not obstructed. The helmet is designed with 24 breathable vents for airflow. If riding in extreme heat, consider taking breaks to cool down.
