4. Maintenance

  • Ceramic Bowl and Spoon: The ceramic bowl and spoon are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. For best results and to maintain their pristine condition, hand washing with mild soap and warm water is recommended.
  • Bamboo Lid: The natural bamboo lid should be hand washed only. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately and thoroughly. Do not soak the bamboo lid in water or place it in a dishwasher, as this can cause warping, cracking, or mold growth.
  • Drying: Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling and refilling to prevent moisture from affecting your condiments.
  • Storage: Store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or excessive humidity to preserve the quality of both the container and its contents.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Condiments Clumping: If your salt or sugar begins to clump, it may be due to humidity. Ensure the lid is properly closed after each use. Consider adding a few grains of rice to the container to absorb excess moisture.
  • Lid Not Closing Properly: Check if the bamboo lid is clean and free from any debris that might obstruct its closure. Ensure the spoon is correctly placed in its notch.
  • Spoon Breakage: The ceramic spoon is delicate. Handle with care to prevent accidental drops or impacts that could lead to breakage.
  • Stains on Ceramic: For stubborn stains on the ceramic bowl, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied and left for a few minutes before scrubbing gently and rinsing.
