2. Safety Information

- Ensure all connections are correct and secure before powering on the system.
- Always connect the battery first, then the solar panels, and finally the load. Disconnect in reverse order.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals or solar panel terminals.
- Install the controller in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials and direct sunlight.
- Avoid installing the controller in a location where water can enter.
- Use appropriate wire gauges for all connections to prevent overheating.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Package Contents
The Keeper series package includes:

3.2 Mounting the Controller
Follow these steps to securely mount the solar charge controller:
- Select an Installation Location: Choose a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is enough space for air to flow through the cooling fins of the controller to ensure natural heat dissipation. Avoid direct sunlight or areas with high humidity.
- Mark Mounting Holes: Use the provided installation guide plate to mark the four mounting holes on the wall.
- Secure the Controller: Drill holes at the marked positions and secure the controller to the wall using four screws.

3.3 Wiring Sequence
Important: Always connect the battery first, then the solar panels, and finally the load. Disconnect in reverse order.
- Open the Terminal Cover: Carefully remove the orange terminal screw cover at the bottom of the controller.
- Loosen Terminal Screws: Use a screwdriver to loosen all terminal screws.
- Connect the Battery: Connect the battery positive (+) and negative (-) wires to the corresponding battery terminals on the controller. Ensure a secure connection.
- Connect Solar Panels (PV Input): Connect the solar panel positive (+) and negative (-) wires to the corresponding PV input terminals.
- Connect the DC Load (Optional): If using a DC load directly from the controller, connect its positive (+) and negative (-) wires to the load terminals.
- Close the Terminal Cover: Replace the orange terminal screw cover.
- Activate the System: Close the battery circuit breaker to start the controller. Then, turn on the photovoltaic input (solar panel circuit breaker).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 LCD Display Overview
