  4. Placement: Place the assembled solar fountain into your bird bath, pond, or water feature. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight. The fountain will start operating automatically within a few seconds once sufficient sunlight is detected.

5. Operating Instructions

The GAIZERL solar fountain is designed for automatic operation.

  • Solar Power: The fountain operates directly from solar energy when exposed to sufficient sunlight.
  • Battery Backup: The integrated 2000mAh battery stores excess solar energy. This allows the fountain to continue operating or to start working even during periods of partial shade or on cloudy days, provided the battery has been sufficiently charged.

  • Automatic Start: The pump will automatically activate when the solar panel receives enough sunlight and is placed in water.
  • Water Shortage Protection: The fountain features a water level sensor that will automatically shut off the pump if the water level drops too low. This protects the pump from running dry and extends its lifespan. Ensure the water level is adequate for continuous operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your solar fountain.

  • Clean Filter Sponge: The filter sponge can accumulate debris and algae, especially in hot and sunny conditions. Regularly remove and rinse the filter sponge with clean water.
  • Clean Rotor: Periodically clean the pump's rotor to remove any blockages. This can be done by running water through the nozzle insertion hole to clear debris.

  • Maintain Water Level: Ensure the water level in your bird bath or pond is always sufficient to fully submerge the pump and prevent the water shortage protection from activating unnecessarily.
  • Clear Solar Panel: Keep the glass solar panel clean and free from dirt, leaves, or other obstructions to maximize sunlight absorption.

7. Troubleshooting

If your solar fountain is not operating as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
