Setup and Installation

Before You Begin: Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the outdoor light fixture and switch it to the OFF position. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Remove Old Fixture (if applicable): Carefully disconnect and remove the existing light fixture.
3. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the junction box on your wall using the included screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4. Wire Connections:
   • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the green or bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box.
   • Secure all connections with wire nuts and electrical tape.
5. Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure a tight seal against the wall to prevent water entry.
6. Install Bulb: Insert an E26-based bulb (max 60W) into the socket.

Operating Instructions

Light Operation Modes:

The Ehaho Porch Light offers two distinct operating modes:

1. Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor Mode:

   This mode utilizes the built-in photocell sensor to automatically control the light. The light will turn on when ambient brightness falls below 10-20 Lux (dusk) and turn off when brightness rises above 30-60 Lux (dawn).

   • To activate: Ensure the photocell sensor is uncovered.
   • No manual intervention is required once set.
2. Switch-Controlled Mode:

   This mode allows you to control the light using a standard wall switch, bypassing the photocell sensor.

   • To activate: Place the included silicone cap over the photocell sensor. This will disable the automatic dusk-to-dawn function.
   • Control the light using your existing wall switch.

GFCI Outlet Usage:

The built-in GFCI outlet provides convenient and safe power for outdoor devices.

Maintenance
