Control Panel Functions:

• MIC Input: 6.35mm jack for connecting a microphone.
• Display: Shows current mode, track number, or FM frequency.
• Power ON/OFF Switch: Toggles the speaker power.
• LED Switch: Toggles the LED lights on/off.
• DC 5V (Micro-USB) Port: For charging the speaker.
• Volume Knob: Rotates to adjust the master volume.
• USB Input: For playing audio from a USB flash drive.

Setup and Charging

Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V (Micro-USB) port on the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status.

Note: A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of playtime.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Slide the Power ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position to turn on the speaker. Slide it to "OFF" to power down.

Bluetooth Pairing:

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the display.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other audio device.
3. Search for "Coby CPA440" (or similar name) in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to connect.
4. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the Bluetooth icon on the display will stop flashing.

Note: The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing:

To achieve true stereo sound, you can pair two Coby CPA440 speakers together.

1. Ensure both speakers are turned on and are NOT connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause Button until you hear a pairing tone.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
4. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

FM Radio Mode:

1. Press the Mode Button (M) repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
2. To auto-scan and save available stations, long press the Play/Pause Button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
3. Use the Previous/Rewind Button and Next/Forward Button to navigate between saved stations.
4. For improved FM reception, connect the provided AUX cable to the AUX input port; it acts as an external antenna.

USB/TF Card Playback:

1. Insert a USB flash drive or TF (microSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the respective port.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF mode and begin playing the first track. If not, press the Mode Button (M) to select the correct mode.
3. Use the Previous/Rewind Button and Next/Forward Button to skip tracks. Long press to fast forward or rewind within a track.
4. Press the Play/Pause Button to pause or resume playback.

AUX Input Mode:

1. Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the AUX Input port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
3. Press the Mode Button (M) until "AUX" appears on the display.
4. Control playback and volume from your connected device.

Microphone Use:

1. Connect a wired microphone (not included) to the MIC Input port.
2. Adjust the master volume using the Volume Knob.
3. The microphone input can be used simultaneously with other audio playback modes (Bluetooth, USB, etc.) for karaoke or announcements.

LED Lights:

The speaker features multi-color LED lights that synchronize with the music. To turn the LED lights on or off, use the dedicated LED Switch on the control panel.

Maintenance

• Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures. The speaker is NOT waterproof.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid dropping the speaker or subjecting it to strong impacts.
• When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place and charge it periodically to maintain battery health.
