1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

The rear panel provides all necessary connection ports for power input, output, and communication.

5. Setup

5.1 Site Selection

Choose a location that meets the following criteria:

  • Indoors, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Well-ventilated, with ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and 104°F).
  • Humidity between 20% and 90% (non-condensing).
  • Away from flammable gases, corrosive liquids, and excessive dust.
  • On a stable, flat surface capable of supporting the UPS weight.

5.2 Initial Charging

Before initial use, connect the UPS to a standard AC power outlet for at least 8 hours to ensure the internal Lithium-Ion battery is fully charged. The UPS will charge the battery whether it is turned on or off.

5.3 Connecting Equipment

  1. Ensure the UPS is turned off and disconnected from the AC power source.
  2. Connect your critical equipment (computers, monitors, network devices) to the output receptacles on the rear panel of the UPS. Do not overload the UPS beyond its rated capacity (3000W).
  3. Connect the UPS power cord to a grounded AC power outlet.
  4. (Optional) Connect the USB communication cable from the UPS to your computer for monitoring and graceful shutdown capabilities using compatible UPS management software.

6. Operating the UPS

6.1 Turning On the UPS

Press and hold the power button on the front panel for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the LCD display illuminates. The UPS will perform a self-test and then enter online mode.

6.2 Turning Off the UPS

To turn off the UPS, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LCD display turns off. If the UPS is connected to AC power, it will continue to charge the battery even when off.

6.3 LCD Display and Indicators

The LCD display provides real-time information about the UPS status. Common indicators include:

  • Input Voltage: Displays the current utility power voltage.
  • Output Voltage: Displays the voltage supplied by the UPS to connected equipment.
  • Battery Level: Shows the remaining battery charge.
  • Load Percentage: Indicates the percentage of the UPS's capacity being used by connected equipment.
  • Operating Mode: Shows if the UPS is in Online, Battery, or Bypass mode.
  • Alarm Indicators: Icons or messages indicating specific warnings or errors (e.g., overload, battery low, fault).

6.4 Self-Test Function

It is recommended to perform a self-test periodically (e.g., once a month) to ensure the battery and internal circuitry are functioning correctly. Refer to the UPS's front panel button guide or management software for initiating a self-test.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your UPS.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the UPS. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
