- Mode 1 (Protective Clothing): Suitable for delicate items like socks and scarves.

4.3 Using the Fabric Shaver
Lay the garment or fabric flat on a hard, smooth surface. Gently glide the shaver over the pilled areas, applying light and even pressure. Avoid pressing too hard to prevent damage to the fabric. For optimal results, move the shaver in circular motions or short, even strokes.

5.2 Cleaning Blades and Mesh
Periodically clean the blades and steel mesh to ensure efficient operation. Use a small brush (often included with similar devices) to gently remove any trapped lint or fibers from the blades and the underside of the mesh. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Device Not Turning On
- Check Battery: Ensure the device is sufficiently charged. Connect it to the Type-C charger and allow it to charge for some time.
- Protective Cover: The device has a safety mechanism. Ensure the clear plastic protective cover over the blades is correctly installed. A small pin detects its presence; if not properly seated, the device will not power on.
- Power Button: Press and hold the power button firmly for a few seconds.
6.2 Reduced Performance/Ineffective Lint Removal
- Empty Lint Collector: A full lint collector can reduce suction. Empty it as described in Section 5.1.
- Clean Blades/Mesh: Trapped lint or debris on the blades or mesh can hinder performance. Clean them thoroughly (Section 5.2).
- Battery Level: Low battery can affect motor speed. Recharge the device.
- Fabric Type/Mode: Ensure you are using the appropriate mode for the fabric type. For stubborn pilling, multiple passes may be required.
