3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed below are present:

3.2 Exhaust Hose and Window Kit Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the exhaust hose and window kit for efficient operation:

  1. Stretch the exhaust hose to its full length (5.9 inches diameter).
  2. Connect the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose by rotating it clockwise until secure.
  3. Rotate the exhaust nozzle (exhaust pipe joint) counter-clockwise into the other end of the exhaust hose.
  4. Attach the hose connector to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the AC unit.
  5. Extend the adjustable window kit (slide bar) to fit your window opening.
  6. Insert the exhaust hose adapter into the opening of the window kit.
  7. Place the window kit securely in your horizontal or vertical window.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Filter Cleaning

The unit features a reusable and washable air filter. It is recommended to clean the filter twice a month, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter on the back of the unit.
  3. Slide out the filter gently using the built-in handle.
  4. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water to remove dust and debris.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

5.2 Drainage

This air conditioner utilizes self-evaporation technology, which atomizes condensed water and expels it with the exhaust air, reducing the need for frequent manual drainage. However, in areas with very high humidity, manual drainage may be necessary.

  • To manually drain, locate the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Place a suitable container beneath the drainage port.
  • Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  • Once drained, securely replace the drain plug.
  • A PVC drain pipe is included for continuous drainage in high-humidity environments. Connect it to the drainage port and direct the other end to a floor drain or suitable receptacle.
