Setup
- Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the OutIn Nano using the provided USB-C cable. The 3 x 2500mAh lithium batteries support up to 5 hot shots with cold water or over 200 shots with pre-heated water on a full charge.
- Initial Cleaning: Disassemble the removable parts (portafilter, cup, adapters) and rinse them with clean water. Ensure they are dry before reassembly.
Operating Instructions
General Operation (One-Button Click)
The OutIn Nano operates with a simple one-button click system. The button also indicates battery status with LED lights.
Using Ground Coffee
- Unscrew the portafilter from the main unit.
- Insert the ground coffee filter basket into the portafilter.
- Fill the filter basket with your desired amount of finely ground coffee using the provided spoon. Tamp firmly.
- Place the shower screen on top of the coffee grounds.
- Screw the portafilter assembly back onto the main unit tightly.
Using Nespresso Original Compatible Capsules
- Unscrew the portafilter from the main unit.
- Remove the ground coffee filter basket and insert the capsule adapter into the portafilter.
- Place a Nespresso Original compatible capsule firmly into the adapter.
- Screw the portafilter assembly back onto the main unit tightly.
Adding Water & Brewing
- Remove the top lid of the main unit.
- Add 50ml to 80ml of cold or hot water into the water tank. The internal markings indicate water levels.
- Replace the lid securely.
- For Cold Water (Self-Heating): Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The machine will beep, and the LED lights will indicate heating progress. The heating process takes approximately 200 seconds (3-4 minutes) to reach 198°F. Once heated, the machine will automatically begin extraction.
- For Hot Water (Direct Extraction): If using pre-heated hot water, double-click the power button to initiate direct extraction immediately.
- Place the included coffee cup or your preferred espresso cup under the portafilter.
- The machine will extract espresso with 20-bar pressure, ensuring rich crema.
- Press the button once to stop extraction at any time.

Maintenance
The OutIn Nano is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance:
- Disassembly: The machine is easy to disassemble for cleaning. Unscrew the portafilter and remove any adapters or filter baskets.
- Rinsing: Rinse all removable parts (portafilter, adapters, filter baskets, cup) under running water.
- Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Drying: Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling or storing the machine to prevent mold or damage.
- Dishwasher Safety: The OutIn Nano is not dishwasher safe.
Troubleshooting

- Brew Failure: Ensure the portafilter is screwed on tightly. Loose connections can prevent proper pressure build-up.
- Weak Espresso/No Crema: For ground coffee, ensure the grind is fine enough and tamped firmly. For capsules, ensure the capsule is inserted correctly and not damaged.
- Slow Heating: If using cold water, the heating process can take up to 200 seconds. Using pre-heated water will result in immediate extraction.
