Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the MIEFL LD-MTD-3PCS Motion Sensor Activated LED Toilet Light. This device is designed to illuminate your toilet bowl with various colors, featuring motion and light sensing capabilities for convenience and energy efficiency. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and use.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The MIEFL LED Toilet Light requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Device Mounting

Attach the toilet light to the rim of your toilet bowl:

Adjust the flexible arm to fit over the rim of your toilet bowl.
Position the main unit on the outside of the toilet bowl and the LED light arm inside the bowl.
Ensure the motion sensor faces outwards and is not obstructed.
Press firmly to secure the device in place.

Operating Instructions

1. Motion and Light Sensing

The toilet light is equipped with both motion and light sensors:

Motion Activation: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within 6.6 feet (2 meters).
Light Sensing: The device operates only in dark conditions to conserve battery life. It will not activate in a well-lit environment.
Auto-Off: The light will automatically turn off approximately 2 minutes after the last detected motion.

2. Color Selection and Brightness

The device offers 16 different colors and 5 brightness levels:

Automatic Color Cycle: Upon activation, the light will cycle through all 16 colors automatically.
Fixed Color Mode: To select and fix a specific color, press the small button located on the side of the main unit while the desired color is displayed. The light will remain on this color until the button is pressed again to resume automatic cycling.
Brightness Adjustment: The light automatically adjusts its brightness across 5 levels based on ambient light conditions, ensuring optimal illumination without being overly bright.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Device

To ensure optimal performance and hygiene, clean the MIEFL LED Toilet Light regularly:

Remove the device from the toilet bowl.
Wipe the unit and the flexible arm with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Avoid submerging the main unit in water. The LED arm is waterproof, but the main unit containing electronics is not designed for full submersion.
Ensure the device is completely dry before reattaching it to the toilet.

Battery Replacement

When the light dims or stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Refer to the Battery Installation section for detailed instructions.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Light does not turn on.	Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. Room is too bright (light sensor active). Motion sensor obstructed or out of range.	Check and replace batteries; ensure correct polarity. Ensure the bathroom is dark enough for activation. Clear any obstructions from the motion sensor and ensure it faces the area of movement.
Light stays on constantly.	Continuous motion detected. Sensor malfunction.	Ensure no continuous movement is within the sensor's range. Remove and reinsert batteries to reset the device.
Colors are dim or inconsistent.	Low battery power. Sensor malfunction.	Replace batteries. Remove and reinsert batteries to reset the device.
