Setup
1. Charging the Battery
- Ensure the UP20 2.5 Ah Lithium-Ion battery is fully charged before first use.
- Connect the UP20 charger (sold separately) to a suitable power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the charger. The LED indicator on the battery will show its charging status.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger. The battery's lithium-ion technology ensures a long operating duration and features a standby mode to reduce self-discharge when not in use.
2. Installing the Battery
- Align the battery with the battery compartment on the hedge trimmer.
- Slide the battery firmly into place until it clicks, indicating it is securely locked.
- To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.
3. Attaching/Removing the Blade Guard
