1. Product Overview

The ABASK A8 GPS Suction Cup Mount is designed to securely hold your dash camera while providing essential GPS data. This mount allows your dash cam to record vehicle location, speed, and itinerary, enhancing the utility of your driving footage.

2. Setup Instructions

1. Clean Surface: Ensure the windshield or dashboard surface where you intend to mount the device is clean and dry.
2. Attach Suction Cup: Press the suction cup firmly against the desired surface and engage the locking lever (if present) to secure it.
3. Connect Dash Cam: Align the multi-pin connector of the GPS station with the corresponding port on your ABASK A8 dash camera and gently push to connect.
4. Power Connection: Connect the USB charging cable to the USB port on the GPS station. This will power both the GPS receiver and the dash camera.
5. Adjust Angle: Adjust the mount's arm and the dash cam's position to ensure an optimal recording angle and clear view of the road.

Once connected and powered, the GPS station will automatically begin receiving satellite signals. The dash camera, when connected to this GPS station, will record the following data along with your video footage:

Important Note:

To view the recorded video with the integrated GPS information (location, speed, itinerary), you must use the dedicated Hit GPS player. Standard video players will not display the GPS data embedded in the footage.

  - Ensure the surface is smooth and non-porous.
  - Press firmly and engage the locking lever completely.
