Setup and Assembly

The VaVaSoo Rocking Bassinet is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for additional tools. Follow these steps to set up your bassinet:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the manual are present.
2. Assemble Base and Wheels: Attach the universal wheels to the base of the bassinet legs. Ensure they click securely into place and can be locked.
3. Attach Storage Basket: Secure the large storage basket to the designated area under the bassinet frame.
4. Connect Bassinet Frame: Assemble the main bassinet frame components, ensuring all connections are firm. The wooden top rail should fit snugly.
5. Insert Mattress: Place the soft mattress and fitted sheet into the bassinet frame.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the port located on the underside of the bassinet's motor unit.

Operating Instructions

Your VaVaSoo Rocking Bassinet offers several features to soothe and comfort your baby. All primary functions are controlled via the included remote.

Remote Control Functions:

• Power Button: Turns the bassinet on/off.
• Rocking Motion Button: Cycles through 3 rocking speeds. Pressing this button directly will activate rocking without music.
• Music Button: Cycles through 5 music and 3 white noise options.
• Volume Control: Adjusts music volume up or down.

Bedside Sleeper Mode:

To use the bassinet as a bedside sleeper, unbutton the two snaps on one side of the bassinet and unzip the fabric. This allows the side to fold down, providing easy access to your baby from your bed. Ensure the bassinet is securely positioned next to your bed.

Height Adjustment:

The bassinet offers 5 height adjustment levels. To adjust the height, locate the levers on the bassinet legs. Pull up on the lever and slide the leg to your desired height. Ensure both sides are adjusted to the same level for stability.

Portability:

The bassinet is equipped with 4 universal wheels for easy movement. To move the bassinet, unlock the wheels. To secure it in place, lock the wheels.

Care and Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your VaVaSoo Rocking Bassinet, regular cleaning is recommended.

• Mattress and Fitted Sheet: The mattress and fitted sheet are designed for easy cleaning. Simply slip off the fitted sheet and clean as per fabric care instructions. The mattress itself is often waterproof on one side, allowing for easy wipe-downs.
• Frame and Mesh: Wipe down the frame and mesh sides with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly or use.
• Motor Protection: The bassinet automatically powers off after 45 minutes to protect the motor. Press the power button on the remote or the unit to restart.

Troubleshooting

Music Plays Automatically on Startup:

If the music plays automatically when you turn on the bassinet, you can prevent this by pressing the rocking motion button on the remote control instead of the main power button. This will activate the rocking feature without initiating the music.

Bassinet Not Rocking or Responding:

• Ensure the bassinet is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
• Check the remote control batteries and replace if necessary.
• If using the remote, ensure you are within range and there are no obstructions.
• The bassinet automatically powers off after 45 minutes to protect the motor. Press the power button to restart.

Remote Control Lost:

If the remote control is misplaced, you can still power on the bassinet using the button located on the underside of the motor unit. However, this button will activate both rocking and music simultaneously.
