Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully to install your ceiling fan. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before starting.

  1. Pre-Installation Checklist:
    • Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
    • Verify that your ceiling junction box is approved for fan support and can hold at least 9.88 lbs.
    • Ensure the recommended minimum ceiling height is not less than 8 feet.
    • For sloped ceilings, the maximum angle should not exceed 12 degrees.
  2. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  3. Assemble Downrod: Attach the downrod to the fan motor assembly. Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod.
  4. Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the hook provided on the mounting bracket. This will temporarily support the fan while you make electrical connections.
  5. Wiring Connections: Connect the electrical wires from the fan to your household wiring (Live, Neutral, Ground) using the provided wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
  6. Install Canopy: Once wiring is complete, carefully slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with screws, covering all wiring.
  7. Attach Fan Blades: Secure the three fan blades to the motor housing. Note that the blades are dual-faced, with one side in pure white and the other in light oak. Choose your preferred aesthetic during installation.
  8. Install Light Kit: Connect the light kit wires to the fan motor assembly and secure the light kit to the bottom of the fan.
  9. Select Color Temperature (Pre-Installation): Before fully securing the light kit, locate the CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) switch on the light fixture. Select your desired front light color temperature from 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6500K. This setting is made once during installation.
  10. Remote Control Setup: Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. The remote is typically pre-paired with the fan.
