4.1 Setting Current Time

4.2 Automatic Mode Programming

To set an automatic watering schedule:

1. Ensure the timer is in automatic mode (indicated by the knob position or display).
2. Set Watering Duration ("How Long"): Adjust the duration from 10 seconds up to 24 hours. This is the length of time water will flow during each watering cycle.
3. Set Watering Frequency ("How Often"): Adjust the interval between watering cycles from 1 hour up to 7 days. This determines how often the timer will activate.
4. Confirm your settings using the OK/ON/OFF button. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.

4.3 Manual Mode

For immediate, unscheduled watering:

• Activate Manual Mode: Long press the Manual Mode button (hand icon) on the timer.
• Adjust Duration: Use the controls to set the desired manual watering duration, from 10 seconds to 24 hours.
• Start Watering: Confirm the duration, and the timer will begin watering immediately.
• Stop Manual Watering: To stop manual watering before the set duration, long press the OK/ON/OFF button.

• Activate Rain Delay: Press the DELAY button. The timer will pause its scheduled watering.
• The default delay period is 6 hours. After this period, the timer will automatically resume its programmed schedule.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The timer is powered by 2 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. When the battery level is low, the LCD screen will display "Lo" to indicate that replacement is needed. Your programming will be retained during battery replacement.

• Open the battery compartment on the back.
• Remove the old batteries and insert new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, observing polarity.
• Securely close the battery compartment.

5.2 Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter Screen
