Setup Guide

Battery Installation

Before first use, install the included batteries:

1. Flip the scale over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

App Download and Pairing

To utilize all smart features, download the EufyLife app and pair your scale:

1. Download the "EufyLife" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Select "Smart Scale P3" from the list.
4. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and step onto the scale to activate it. The app will guide you through the pairing process.
5. For Wi-Fi connectivity, ensure your network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.

Operating the Smart Scale

Taking a Measurement

For accurate and complete body composition analysis:

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring.
2. Step onto the scale barefoot with your feet evenly distributed on the electrodes.
3. Stand still until your weight is displayed and the measurement process is complete. The scale will cycle through various metrics on its display.
4. Your data will automatically sync to the EufyLife app.

Cleaning

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Inaccurate Readings

• Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets, rugs, or uneven floors.
• Step onto the scale barefoot and stand still during measurement.
• If readings are inconsistent, try recalibrating the scale by stepping on it briefly to turn it on, then stepping off and waiting for it to display "0.0 lbs" before taking a new measurement.

Connectivity Problems

• Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The scale does not support 5GHz networks.
• Restart the scale by removing and reinserting the batteries.
• Restart your mobile device and the EufyLife app.
• If issues persist, try re-pairing the scale with the app.
