  4. Insert Drip Tray: Slide the removable drip tray into its designated slot at the front or side of the grill to collect any excess fat or liquids during cooking.
  5. Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your power outlet matches the specifications of the grill (230V). Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Grill does not heat up. Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; temperature knob set to MIN. Ensure the grill is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check the circuit breaker. Turn the temperature knob to a higher setting.
Food sticks to the plates. Plates not properly cleaned; non-stick coating damaged; insufficient preheating. Ensure plates are clean before use. Always preheat the grill until the ready light illuminates. Avoid using metal utensils that can damage the non-stick coating.
Uneven cooking. Food not evenly distributed; grill not fully preheated; too much food. Ensure food is spread evenly. Allow the grill to fully preheat. Avoid overcrowding the grill. The floating top plate should help with even pressure.
Smoke or unusual odor during first use. Protective oils burning off. This is normal for new appliances. Ensure good ventilation. It should dissipate after a few uses. If smoke persists, unplug and contact support.
