3. Mounting the Camera
Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting. Consider the following:
- Optimal Solar Exposure: Position the solar panel where it receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day to ensure continuous battery charging.
- Coverage Area: Ensure the camera's field of view covers the desired monitoring area. The 3600 PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) functionality allows for flexible adjustment after mounting.
- Cellular Signal: Verify that the chosen location has adequate 3G/4G LTE cellular signal strength for reliable connectivity.
- Security: Mount the camera at a height that deters tampering while still providing a clear view.
- Mark Drilling Points: Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall or surface.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points. Insert wall plugs if mounting on masonry or concrete.
- Secure Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws.
- Attach Camera: Securely attach the camera unit to the mounting bracket. Ensure the solar panel is connected and positioned for optimal sunlight.
