8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Picture:
    • Ensure the projector is powered on and the lens cap is removed.
    • Check the input source selection; make sure it matches your connected device (HDMI, USB, etc.).
    • Verify that the HDMI cable or other connection cables are securely plugged in.
    • Try connecting a different source device to rule out a device issue.
  • No Sound:
    • Adjust the volume on both the projector and the source device.
    • If using external speakers, ensure they are properly connected and powered on.
    • If using Bluetooth speakers, ensure they are paired correctly and selected as the audio output.
    • Check if the audio is muted on the projector or source device.
  • Blurred Image:
    • Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens.
    • Ensure the projection distance is within the recommended range (1-6 meters).
    • Clean the projector lens if it appears dirty.
  • Distorted Image (Trapezoid Shape):
    • Use the 6D/4P Digital Keystone Correction feature to adjust the image shape.
    • Ensure the projector is placed as perpendicular to the screen as possible.
  • WiFi Screen Mirroring Issues:
    • Ensure both the projector and your device are connected to the same 5G or 2.4G WiFi network.
    • Restart both the projector and your device.
    • Check for any software updates for your device or projector.
    • Remember that some streaming apps have copyright protection that prevents direct mirroring; use a TV stick instead.
  • Unstable Tripod:
    • Ensure the projector is securely mounted on the tripod.
    • Verify that the tripod legs are fully extended and locked in place on a stable surface.
    • If the included tripod is insufficient for your needs, consider purchasing a more robust tripod for better stability.
