6. Operating Instructions

To operate your Oxseryn pool vacuum, follow these steps:

  1. Submerge the Vacuum: Carefully lower the vacuum cleaner into the water. It is crucial that both the water inlet and outlet are fully submerged to activate the suction mechanism.
  2. Activate the Vacuum: Once fully submerged, turn on the vacuum. The new motor ensures stable suction for effective cleaning.
  3. Clean the Pool: Guide the vacuum along the bottom and sides of your pool, hot tub, or spa to collect debris. The lightweight design (2.65 lbs including pole) allows for easy maneuverability.
  4. Automatic Shut-off: The integrated water level sensor will automatically turn off the power if the unit is not fully immersed for more than 60 seconds, preventing motor idling damage.
  5. After Use: Once cleaning is complete, remove the vacuum from the water.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your pool vacuum.

  • Cleaning the Filter: After each use, remove the filter body and clean the filter mesh bag. Twist off the bottom section, pinch the sides to release the filter, and hose off any collected debris.
  • Charging: Recharge the 4000mAh battery as needed. A full charge provides approximately 45 minutes of run time. Do not overcharge the battery.
  • Storage: Store the vacuum in a dry place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your pool vacuum, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Suction: Ensure both the water inlet and outlet are fully submerged in water. The vacuum requires full submersion to create suction.
  • Vacuum Not Turning On: Check if the battery is charged. If the battery is low, recharge it for approximately 4.5 hours. Also, ensure the water level sensor is not activated (i.e., the unit is fully submerged).
  • Reduced Suction: The filter may be full or clogged. Clean the filter mesh bag as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Charger Light Flashing Red: This may indicate a charging issue or a battery fault. Ensure the charging port is dry and the charger is properly connected. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

9. Warranty & Support

The Oxseryn EDHV02 Lightweight Cordless Handheld Pool Vacuum comes with a limited warranty. For specific warranty details, claims, or technical support, please refer to the warranty card included in your package or contact Oxseryn customer service directly.
