2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Battery Installation

The ProScore Digital Dart Scorer requires 3 AA batteries (not included) for operation. To install the batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.3 Player Selection and Scoring

The unit supports up to 8 players. After selecting a game:

  1. The display will prompt you to select the number of players. Use the number buttons (1-8) to enter the player count, then press 'Enter'.
  2. Player 1's turn will be indicated on the display.
  3. After each dart is thrown, enter the score using the corresponding number buttons (1-20, 25, 50 for bullseye). Use 'X2' or 'X3' for doubles and triples.
  4. If a dart misses, press the 'Miss' button.
  5. To correct the last entered score, press the 'Correct' button.
  6. After all darts for a player's turn are thrown and scores entered, press the 'Next Player' button to advance to the next player.
  7. The scoreboard automatically calculates and displays current scores for all active players.
