5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required batteries (e.g., 3x AAA, not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Pairing the Controller with the Drone

Before first flight, the controller must be paired with your HASAKEE M1C or M1S drone.

  1. Ensure the drone's battery is fully charged and installed. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the drone. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
  3. Press the Power Button (⑂) on the remote controller to turn it on. The controller's indicator light will flash.
  4. To pair, push the Left Joystick (throttle) fully up, then fully down.
  5. Both the drone and controller indicator lights should become solid, indicating successful pairing.
  6. If pairing fails, turn off both the drone and controller, then repeat the steps.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Flight Controls

  • Take-off: After pairing, press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button, or slowly push the Left Joystick up.
  • Landing: Press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button, or slowly pull the Left Joystick down until the drone lands.
  • Ascend/Descend: Push the Left Joystick up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  • Forward/Backward: Push the Right Joystick up to fly forward, pull down to fly backward.
  • Left/Right Sideways Flight (Roll): Push the Right Joystick left to fly left, push right to fly right.
  • Rotate Left/Right (Yaw): Push the Left Joystick left to rotate left, push right to rotate right.

6.2 Special Functions

  • Emergency Stop: In an emergency, press the STOP button to immediately cut power to the drone's motors. Use with caution as the drone will drop.
  • Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed Switch Button to cycle through different flight speeds (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced).
  • Photo/Video: Short press the Camera/Video button to take a photo. Long press to start video recording; long press again to stop.
  • Headless Mode: Refer to your drone's specific manual for activating and operating in headless mode, if supported. This feature allows the drone to fly based on the controller's orientation, regardless of the drone's front direction.
  • Trim Adjustment: If the drone drifts without joystick input, use the corresponding Trim Buttons to stabilize its flight. For example, if it drifts left, press the right trim button.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
  • Avoid Drops: Protect the controller from impacts and drops, which can damage internal circuitry.
