- Turn On/Off Water Flow: The main handle controls the water flow. Rotate the handle to turn the water on or off.
- Adjust Water Temperature: Rotate the main handle left for hotter water and right for colder water. The pressure balancing valve maintains a consistent temperature to prevent scalding.
- Switch Between Functions: The diverter knob (located above the main handle) allows you to switch the water flow between the rainfall shower head and the handheld shower. Rotate the knob to select your desired output.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Matte Black Finish: Clean the matte black finish with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Shower Head Nozzles: The rainfall shower head features easy-clean spray nozzles. Periodically rub the rubber nozzles to dislodge any mineral buildup. For stubborn deposits, a solution of white vinegar and water can be used.
7.2 General Care
- Regularly inspect all connections for any signs of leaks.
- Ensure the shower hose is not kinked or twisted during use or storage.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low water pressure | Clogged shower head nozzles; partially closed shut-off valve; low household water pressure. | Clean shower head nozzles. Ensure shut-off valves are fully open. Consult a plumber if household pressure is consistently low. |
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections; worn washers/O-rings; insufficient plumber's tape. | Turn off water supply. Tighten connections. Replace worn washers/O-rings. Reapply plumber's tape. |
| Inconsistent water temperature | Pressure balancing valve issue; hot/cold water supply imbalance. | Ensure hot and cold water supplies are functioning correctly. If the issue persists, the pressure balancing cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a professional. |
| Diverter not switching properly | Mineral buildup in diverter; faulty diverter mechanism. | Attempt to flush the system. If the issue persists, the diverter may need servicing. |
