5. Installation Guide

5.1 Pre-Installation

1. Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the center of your wood studs. Mark the locations. For concrete/brick walls, ensure the wall is solid.
2. Position Template: Tape the provided mounting template to the wall at your desired TV height. Use the included bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points.
3. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on your wall type and the lag bolts used (refer to the instruction manual for specific drill bit sizes).

5.2 Attaching TV Brackets to TV

1. Lay your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes.
3. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened and aligned.

5.3 Mounting the Wall Plate

1. Align the wall plate assembly with the pre-drilled pilot holes.
2. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts. Tighten them firmly, but do not overtighten.
3. Attach the center trip piece to the wall plate.

5.4 Hanging the TV

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the attached TV brackets onto the wall plate assembly.
2. Ensure the TV is properly seated and centered on the mount.
3. Tighten the lower set screws on the TV brackets to secure the TV to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

5.5 Cable Management

Use the provided cable ties to bundle and organize all TV and power cables along the articulating arms. This ensures a neat appearance and prevents cables from getting caught during adjustments.

6. Operating Instructions

• Extension/Retraction: Gently pull the TV away from the wall to extend the arms, or push it back towards the wall to retract. The mount extends up to 15.16 inches and retracts to 2.74 inches.
• Swivel: The TV can be swiveled up to +/-45 degrees horizontally to achieve optimal viewing angles from different positions in the room.
• Tilt: Adjust the TV's vertical angle by tilting it +5 degrees upwards or -15 degrees downwards to reduce glare and improve viewing comfort. Use the tilt-lock knob to secure the desired angle.
