The SEVERIN CY 7106 bagless cyclonic vacuum cleaner combines traditional design with innovative technology for optimal floor cleaning. This lightweight and compact appliance eliminates the need for costly bags and filters, offering powerful and consistent suction thanks to its special cyclonic technology and HEPA 12 filter. It is designed for easy maintenance, with washable dust containers and filters, and provides a comfortable cleaning experience with its compact form, 9-meter operating radius, and rubberized wheels to protect floor coverings. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Attach Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the suction inlet on the main unit until it clicks into place.
  3. Assemble Telescopic Tube: Connect the telescopic tube to the hose handle. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube by pressing the release button and extending or retracting it to a comfortable height.
  4. Attach Floor Nozzle: Attach the desired floor nozzle (Eco Premium or Parquet) to the end of the telescopic tube.
  5. Check Dust Container: Ensure the dust container is correctly installed and empty before first use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power Connection: Pull out the power cord to the desired length (max 6m) and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Power On/Off: Press the On/Off button (usually marked with a power symbol) on the main unit to start or stop the vacuum cleaner.
  3. Adjust Suction Power: Use the suction power regulator (if present, typically a slider or dial on the hose handle or main unit) to adjust the suction strength according to the surface being cleaned.
  4. Floor Nozzle Adjustment: For the Eco Premium floor brush, use the foot switch to toggle between carpet mode (brush retracted) and hard floor mode (brush extended). Use the parquet nozzle for delicate floors.
  5. Cleaning: Move the nozzle slowly and steadily over the surface to ensure thorough cleaning.
  6. After Use: Turn off the vacuum cleaner, unplug the power cord, and press the cord rewind button to retract the cord.
  7. Storage: Utilize the parking hook on the appliance and the accessory holder on the telescopic tube for compact storage.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

Emptying and Cleaning the Dust Container

  1. Detach Container: Press the release button to detach the dust container from the main unit.
  2. Empty Dust: Hold the container over a waste bin and press the bottom release button to open the flap and empty the contents.
  3. Rinse Container: The dust container can be rinsed under running water. Ensure it is completely dry before reassembling.

Cleaning the HEPA 12 Filter

  1. Access Filter: The HEPA 12 filter is located inside the dust container. Carefully remove it.
  2. Clean Filter: Tap the filter gently to remove loose dust. The filter can also be rinsed under running water.
  3. Dry Thoroughly: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before placing it back into the vacuum cleaner. Do not use heat to dry.
  4. Reassemble: Once dry, reinsert the filter into the dust container and reattach the container to the main unit.
