2. Mounting the Blind
Ensure you have the correct tools (drill, screwdriver, measuring tape) and follow the steps for your chosen mounting type.
Inside Mount
For inside mount, the blind is installed within the window frame. A minimum window frame depth of 2.5 inches is required. A 1/4-inch deduction on the width is recommended for the best fit.

Outside Mount
For outside mount, the blind is installed outside the window frame, covering the entire window opening. Minimum clearance of 2 inches of flat surface above the window frame is required. We recommend adding at least 2 inches on each side of the window for maximum light blockage.

Operating Instructions
Remote Control Operation
Your motorized blind comes with a single-channel remote controller for easy operation. The remote allows you to raise, lower, and stop the blind at any desired position.

Pairing the Remote and Setting Limits
To ensure proper function, the remote needs to be paired with the blind, and the upper and lower limits of the blind's travel need to be set. This process involves using the 'S' key and confirm buttons located on the back of the remote, and the programming button on the blind motor itself.

Smart Home Integration (Optional Hub)
Enhance your experience by integrating your motorized blinds with smart home systems like Alexa or Google Assistant via an optional smart hub (sold separately). This allows for voice control, app control, timing functions, and more.

Maintenance
To keep your motorized zebra blinds in optimal condition, regular cleaning is recommended. Use a duster or a slightly damp cloth to wipe the fabric gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Troubleshooting
If your blind is not responding:
- Check if the remote control batteries (AA) need replacement.
- Ensure the remote is properly paired with the blind (refer to the 'Pairing the Remote' section).
- If using a smart hub, verify its connection to your Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only).
- If the blind moves erratically, the upper/lower limits may need to be reset (refer to the 'Setting Limits' section).
