Setup Guide
1. Initial Setup and Charging
- Connect the Base Unit: Plug the AC adapter into the base unit and then into a standard electrical outlet. Connect the telephone line cord from the base unit to your telephone wall jack.
- Install Handset Batteries: Open the battery compartment on each handset and connect the battery pack. Insert the battery pack into the compartment and close the cover.
- Charge Handsets: Place each handset into its respective charging cradle (main base or auxiliary chargers). Ensure the handsets are properly seated and the charging indicator light is on. Allow at least 10 hours for the initial charge.

2. Wall Mounting (Optional)
The main base unit can be wall-mounted for convenience:
- Attach the provided wall-mount bracket to the main base unit.
- Secure the bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (not included), ensuring it is level and stable.
- Connect the telephone line cord and AC adapter as described above.
Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Pick up a handset, press the PHONE/FLASH button, and dial the number.
- To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, pick up any handset.
- Speakerphone: Press the SPEAKER button on the handset to activate the speakerphone during a call.

Smart Call Blocker
The Smart Call Blocker feature helps filter unwanted calls. Robocalls are automatically blocked. You can also manually block numbers.
- One-Touch Blocking: During or after a call, press the CALL BLOCK button on the handset to add the number to the blacklist.
- Call Screening: For unknown numbers, the system can prompt the caller to announce their name before connecting, allowing you to decide whether to answer or block.

Digital Answering System
The base unit features a digital answering system to record messages.
- Answer On/Off: Press the ANSWER ON/OFF button on the base unit to activate or deactivate the answering system.
- Play/Stop Messages: Press the PLAY/STOP button on the base unit to listen to recorded messages. The LED counter displays the number of new messages.
- Repeat/Skip: Use the REPEAT and SKIP buttons to navigate through messages.
- Delete: Press the DELETE button to remove messages.

Caller ID Announce
The handset announces the name of the caller for incoming calls.

Audio Assist
For enhanced listening, use the Audio Assist feature.
- Activate Audio Assist: During a call, press the AUDIO ASSIST button on the side of the handset to temporarily boost the volume and clarify sound frequencies.

Intercom
Communicate between handsets within your home.
- Initiate Intercom: On a handset, press MENU, scroll to "Intercom", and select the desired handset to call.
- Answer Intercom: The receiving handset will ring. Press any key to answer.
Phonebook Management
The phonebook allows you to store frequently called numbers.
- Review Entries: Press the DIR button to access the directory. Use the up/down arrow keys to browse entries.
- Add New Entry: From the directory, select "Add new entry" and follow the on-screen prompts to enter a name and number.
- Delete Entry: Select the entry you wish to delete from the directory, then press the MUTE/DELETE button and confirm.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the phone and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Ensure handsets are placed in their cradles when not in use to maintain battery charge. Replace battery packs when they no longer hold a charge effectively. This product uses nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the phone system to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or excessive moisture.
Troubleshooting
- No Dial Tone:
- Ensure the telephone line cord is securely plugged into both the base unit and the wall jack.
- Verify that the AC adapter is properly connected to the base unit and a working electrical outlet.
- Check if your telephone service is active.
- Poor Range/Static:
- Relocate the base unit to a more central location in your home, away from other electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers).
- Ensure the base unit's antenna is upright.
- Answering System Not Recording Messages:
- Check if the answering system is turned ON.
- Verify that there is sufficient recording time available (up to 22 minutes).
- Smart Call Blocker Issues:
- Ensure your telephone service provider has Caller ID enabled for your account, as this feature relies on Caller ID information.
- Handset Not Charging:
- Ensure the handset is correctly seated in the charging cradle.
- Check that the charging cradle's AC adapter is plugged into a working outlet.
- Verify the battery pack is properly installed in the handset.
