7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Puck-2 antenna, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No Signal / Poor Signal Strength
  • Incorrect antenna connection to router.
  • Antenna mounted in an obstructed location.
  • Damaged cables or connectors.
  • Router configuration issues.
  • Verify both antenna cables are securely connected to the correct ports on the router.
  • Relocate the antenna to a higher position or one with fewer obstructions.
  • Inspect cables and connectors for damage. Replace if necessary.
  • Consult your router's manual for antenna settings and diagnostics.
Slow Data Speeds
  • Suboptimal antenna placement.
  • Network congestion.
  • Router performance limitations.
  • Experiment with slight adjustments to antenna position or orientation.
  • Check with your cellular provider for network status in your area.
  • Ensure your router is capable of supporting the desired data speeds.

If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact Poynting support or your product reseller.
