4. Setup and Installation

Use the provided mounting brackets and screws to secure the car stereo unit into the dashboard opening. Ensure the unit is firmly in place and does not obstruct any vehicle controls.

4.3 Initial Power-Up

After installation, reconnect the vehicle's power. The unit should power on automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection and time zone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

To use Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.

1. On the car stereo, navigate to the 'ZLink' application.
2. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and pair with the car stereo (device name 'CarBT', PIN usually '0000').
3. Once Bluetooth is connected, the ZLink app should automatically initiate the CarPlay or Android Auto connection via Wi-Fi.
4. If the connection is not successful, manually connect your phone to the car stereo's Wi-Fi hotspot (usually named 'AndroidAP_XXXX'). After connecting to the Wi-Fi, delete the history record in the car stereo's Wi-Fi settings and then click ZLink again.

5.2 GPS Navigation

The unit supports online and offline navigation. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed for optimal signal reception.

• Access navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps) from the main menu.
