3. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the power to the switch/outlet you will be working on is turned off at the circuit breaker. This device requires both ground and neutral wires for proper operation and a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection (5GHz is not supported).
- Safety First: Turn off power at the circuit breaker before handling electrical wiring.
- Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the electrical box.
- Wire Connections: Connect the wires from the electrical box to the ORVIBO Smart Dimmer Switch using the provided twist-on wire connectors. Ensure ground and neutral wires are correctly connected.
- Mount the Switch: Install the ORVIBO Smart Dimmer Switch into the standard 1-gang electrical box.
- Attach Wall Plate: Secure the included wall plate over the installed switch.

5. Maintenance
To maintain optimal performance and appearance of your ORVIBO Smart Dimmer Switch, regularly wipe the touchscreen and surrounding areas with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface. Ensure the device remains free from dust and debris to prevent interference with its sensors and touch functionality.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any abnormal situations (e.g., the device cannot be turned on/off, or the screen is unresponsive), perform a forced reboot:
- Remove the wall plate.
- Pull out the fast-switching tab located at the bottom of the switch.
- Wait for the screen to go black.
- Push the tab back in to restore power and restart the device.
