Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. The Awoco RH-C06-A42 offers versatile ventilation options to suit various kitchen configurations.

Ventilation Options

This range hood features a 3-in-1 design, providing three vent configurations:

1. 6” Round Top Vent: For standard round ducting from the top.
2. 3-1/4” x 10” Rectangular Top Vent: For rectangular ducting from the top.
3. 3-1/4” x 10” Rectangular Rear Vent: For rectangular ducting from the rear.

Air dampers are included with all vent adapters to prevent backdraft. Ducts are not included and must be purchased separately.

Mounting Considerations

The range hood is designed for under-cabinet mounting. It has a 6-inch high slim fit, allowing it to fit perfectly into standard cabinets. A 45-inch long power cord with a plug is included, and optional power cord mounting allows for top or rear orientation.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel

The touch sensor control panel provides straightforward access to all functions:

• Power On/Off: One-touch operation to turn the unit on or off.
• Fan Speed Selection: Choose from 4 speeds (300/500/700/900 CFM) for quiet to strong suction.
• LED Lighting: Activate the 2 LED lights with two brightness levels (100% & 75%). The light button operates independently of the power button.
• Clock Display: A 12-hour clock is displayed when the unit is idle.
• Timer Function: Set an adjustable auto shut-off timer for 1 to 15 minutes to clear lingering smoke after cooking.

Remote Control

For added convenience, a remote control is included, allowing you to operate the range hood's functions from a distance.

Baffle Filters

Oil Collector

The range hood is equipped with a slide-in 20-inch external oil collector. Oil drained from the two blowers and the hood body is collected here, simplifying disposal and keeping the interior clean.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Awoco range hood, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.
• Low Suction: Ensure baffle filters are clean and not clogged with grease. Check that the ductwork is clear and not obstructed. Verify the fan speed setting is appropriate for the cooking task.
• Excessive Noise: Confirm that the range hood is securely mounted and all screws are tightened. Check for any loose parts or debris inside the fan housing. Ensure ductwork is properly installed and not causing vibrations.
• Lights Not Working: Check if the LED lights are properly seated. If a bulb is faulty, it may need replacement.
• Control Panel Unresponsive: Try resetting the unit by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
