Safety Information

This safe is designed to protect your valuables. Please observe the following safety guidelines:

  • Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe. Do not store them inside the safe.
  • Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall or floor to prevent tipping or unauthorized removal.
  • Keep the safe away from children to prevent unauthorized access to its contents, especially firearms or medicine.
  • While the safe offers fire and water resistance, it is not completely impervious to extreme conditions. Consider additional protective measures for highly sensitive documents or irreplaceable items.

Setup

1. Initial Opening

Upon receiving your safe, use one of the provided emergency keys to open the door for the first time. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn it clockwise, and then turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

2. Battery Installation

The safe requires batteries for the electronic keypad. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the inside of the safe door. Insert the required batteries (usually AA, not included) according to the polarity markings.

3. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided expansion screws. The safe has pre-drilled holes for this purpose.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
  2. Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor using the safe's pre-drilled holes as a template.
  3. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the expansion screws.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Your Personal or Master Code

The safe allows you to set a personal code and a master code (3 to 8 digits).

Setting the Personal Code:

  1. With the safe door open, press the red setting button located inside the door (usually near the hinge).
  2. Enter your desired 3-8 digit personal code.
  3. Press the "#" key to confirm.

Setting the Master Code:

  1. Enter "00".
  2. Press the red setting button located inside the door.
  3. Enter your desired 3-8 digit master code.
  4. Press the "#" key to confirm.

2. Ways to Open the Safe

Your safe offers three methods for access:

Method 1: Personal/Master Code + Turning Knob

  1. Enter your personal or master code (3-8 digits).
  2. Press the "*" or "#" key to confirm.
  3. Immediately turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

Method 2: Emergency Keys + Turning Knob

This method is used for initial opening, forgotten codes, or dead batteries.

  1. Insert an emergency key into the keyhole.
  2. Turn the key clockwise.
  3. Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

Method 3: External Battery Box + Code + Turning Knob

Use this method if the internal batteries are depleted and you do not have the emergency key readily available.

  1. Connect the external battery box to the safe's external power port (usually located near the keypad).
  2. Enter your personal or master code.
  3. Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

3. Setting Date and Time

To set the date and time on the LCD display:

  1. Enter the door opening password (personal or master code) and press the "#" button.
  2. When the LCD screen displays "OPEN", immediately press the "*" key.
  3. Adjust the date and time in the following order: Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute. Use the number keys to input values and the "#" key to confirm each segment.

4. Alarm System

The safe is equipped with an anti-theft alarm system. If 3 incorrect entries are made consecutively, the alarm will activate. This system also includes an external battery box for emergency power.

5. Removable Shelf

The safe includes a removable shelf to help organize your items. You can install or remove the shelf based on your storage needs.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the battery power is low, the keypad display may indicate a low battery warning. Replace all batteries with new ones of the same type to ensure proper operation. Always use high-quality batteries.

2. Cleaning

Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
