2. Product Overview
The LEDVANCE SMART+ Wireless Indoor Doorbell Chime is a battery-operated device designed to provide audible alerts when paired with a compatible doorbell button. It features multiple ringtones and adjustable volume settings for a customizable experience.

3. Setup
3.1. Powering the Chime
The chime can be powered by 3 AA batteries or via a Micro USB cable (not included).
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the chime. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Micro USB Power: Alternatively, connect a Micro USB cable (not included) to the Micro USB port on the chime and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).

3.2. Pairing with a Doorbell Button
To pair the chime with a compatible LEDVANCE SMART+ Outdoor Doorbell Camera (Model: 75827) or other compatible doorbell buttons:
- Ensure the chime is powered on.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the chime for approximately 3 seconds until the status light blinks rapidly.
- Within 10 seconds, press the button on your doorbell camera or compatible doorbell button.
- The chime will sound a short tone and the status light will stop blinking, indicating successful pairing.
You can pair up to 8 doorbell buttons with a single chime.

4. Operating the Chime
4.1. Adjusting Volume
The chime has 4 volume settings. Press the Volume button (top button on the side) repeatedly to cycle through the available volume levels. The chime will play a sample sound at each level.

4.2. Changing Ringtones
The chime offers 4 different ringtones. Press the Ringtone button (middle button on the side) repeatedly to cycle through the available ringtones. The chime will play a sample of each ringtone.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the chime with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: When the chime's performance degrades or the status light indicates low battery, replace all 3 AA batteries with new ones. Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.
- Storage: If storing the chime for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place.
