1. Product Overview
The HOLFENRY Handheld Pulse Oximeter JKS50F is designed to measure multiple parameters including blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), perfusion index (PI), and heart rate (PR). It features a high-definition OLED screen for real-time data display and can record up to 300 data sets per user. This device is suitable for both infants and adults, offering two measurement modes: Spot-check and Trend Record.
Note: This device is intended for sports and aviation purposes only and is not for medical diagnosis or treatment.
2. Important Safety Precautions
- Do not use the oximeter in the presence of flammable anesthetics, explosive substances, or other flammable materials.
- Avoid using the oximeter near high-frequency surgical equipment, X-ray equipment, or other strong medical equipment.
- Keep the oximeter away from vibration, corrosive substances, explosive materials, high temperatures, and moisture.
- Handle the oximeter with care to prevent shocks and falls.
- If the oximeter is not used for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage or damage.
- Avoid long-term continuous monitoring, as it may cause permanent damage to the skin or the oximeter.
- Do not use the oximeter in a strong electromagnetic field or near a strong magnetic field.
- Do not conduct SpO2 measurements on a finger with a wound or nail polish.
- Do not open the device enclosure; it should only be opened by qualified service personnel.
- For accurate SpO2 measurement, avoid using the oximeter in a cold or uncomfortable environment.
- Dispose of the device and its components, including batteries, according to local ordinances and recycling instructions.
3. Package Contents
The HOLFENRY Handheld Pulse Oximeter JKS50F package includes the following items:
- 1x Handheld Pulse Oximeter Unit
- 1x Lanyard
- 1x Adult Probe
- 1x Infant Probe
- 1x Charging Base
- 1x USB-C Charging Cable
- 1x User Manual

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the pulse oximeter. The device can be charged using the provided USB-C cable and charging base, or directly via the USB-C port.
- Place the pulse oximeter into the charging base.
- Connect the charging base to a power supply using the USB-C cable.
- The oximeter will indicate that it is charging.

4.2. Connecting Probes
The device comes with both an adult probe and an infant probe to accommodate different users.
- Connect the desired probe (adult or infant) to the handheld oximeter unit.
- For the infant probe, place it on the small toe or sole of the infant's foot, ensuring the red light faces down. Adjust the probe size for comfort and secure fit.
- For the adult probe, insert a finger into the rubber hole of the probe, ensuring the red light faces down.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again.
5.2. Taking a Measurement
Once the probe is correctly attached and the device is powered on, keep the finger or foot still. The measurement results for SpO2, PR, and PI will be displayed on the screen after a stable reading is obtained.

5.3. Measurement Modes
The device supports two primary measurement modes:
- Spot-check: For quick, on-demand measurements.
- Trend Record: For continuous monitoring and recording of data over time.
5.4. Multi-user Management
The oximeter supports up to 10 user IDs, with each user capable of storing 300 sets of data independently. This allows multiple family members to use and track their health data on a single device.

5.5. App Synchronization
The device can synchronize data in real-time with the free 'HealthTree' app, available for iOS and Android. To record data via the app, ensure the device is connected to the app during measurement.

6. Alarm Functions
The pulse oximeter features customizable alarm settings to alert users when readings fall outside predefined thresholds.
- Custom Alarm Function: Set specific SpO2 and heart rate alarm thresholds according to individual needs.
- Audible Alerts: The device will beep when a set threshold is reached (e.g., SpO2 below 90% or heart rate below 50 bpm). The corresponding value will flash on the screen.
- Volume Adjustable: The alarm volume can be adjusted.
- One-Click Mute: Quickly mute the alarm when it sounds.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning and Disinfection
Regular cleaning helps maintain the device's performance and hygiene.
- Wipe the device surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with a commercial, non-abrasive cleaner, or a 70% alcohol solution.
- Commonly used hospital cleaning agents and disinfectants include 70% ethanol, 70% isopropanol, and 10% bleach solution. Always use the recommended concentration.
- Do not use alcohol-based, amide, or acetone-based detergents.
- Keep the oximeter casing free from liquid contamination. If contaminated, clean immediately without allowing liquid to enter the instrument.
- Avoid using abrasive materials like wire brushes or metal polish, as they can damage the oximeter's surface.
- Never immerse the oximeter in liquid.
7.2. Storage
Store the oximeter in a dry environment, away from dust, dirt, liquids, or corrosive gases.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your device, refer to the following common problems and their resolutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Perfusion may be too low | Poor blood flow at measurement site. | Change the measuring position (e.g., to a different finger or toe). |
| Electromagnetic interference is too strong | Device is near a source of strong electromagnetic fields. | Move the device away from the source of interference. |
| Pulse waveform is too weak | Movement during measurement. | Keep the patient still during measurement. |
| Display is blank | Device is not charged or brightness is too low. | 1. Charge the device. 2. Enter the menu to adjust the brightness level. |
