This device is designed to provide scheduled and portion-controlled meals for your cats and small to medium-sized dogs, ensuring a consistent and healthy diet. 4.1 Power Supply

The WOPET FT50 feeder supports dual power modes: USB-C adapter and D-cell batteries.

  1. Primary Power (USB-C Adapter): Connect the provided USB-C power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. Backup Power (Batteries): For uninterrupted operation during power outages, install three (3) D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity. The feeder retains settings even if power is lost and restored.

4.2 Filling the Food Reservoir

The feeder is designed for dry pet food with a diameter of 2-12mm (0.078-0.47 inches).

  1. Open the top lid of the feeder.
  2. Pour dry pet food into the reservoir. Do not overfill.
  3. Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness and prevent pets from accessing food prematurely.

4.3 Installing the Desiccant Bag

The desiccant bag helps keep the food fresh and dry.

Attach the stainless steel bowl to the base of the feeder.

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel allows you to customize feeding schedules and other settings.

5.1 Setting the Current Time

Refer to the feeder's display and buttons to set the current time. Typically, there are dedicated buttons for 'Set', 'Up', and 'Down' to adjust hours and minutes.

5.2 Programming Feeding Schedule

You can program up to 6 meals per day, with 1-8 portions per meal.

  1. Press the 'Meal' button (or equivalent) to enter meal programming mode.
  2. Use 'Up'/'Down' buttons to set the desired feeding time for Meal 1.
  3. Press 'Portion' button (or equivalent) and use 'Up'/'Down' to select the number of portions (1-8) for Meal 1.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional meals (up to 6).
  5. Confirm settings by pressing the 'Set' button (or equivalent) or waiting for the display to exit programming mode automatically.

5.3 Recording a Voice Message

Record a 10-second voice message to call your pet at meal times.

  1. Press and hold the 'Record' button (often indicated by a microphone icon).
  2. Speak clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
  3. Release the 'Record' button to save the message. The message will play automatically during each scheduled feeding.

6.1 Cleaning the Feeder

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper operation.

  1. Unplug the feeder and remove any batteries.
  2. Remove the stainless steel feeding bowl for washing with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Wipe the main unit, especially the food outlet and exterior, with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and powering on.

6.2 Using Disposable Paper Liners

The feeder includes disposable paper liners to absorb oil from pet food, simplifying bowl cleaning.
