4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Power Supply

- Backup Power (Batteries): For uninterrupted operation during power outages, install three (3) D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity. The feeder retains settings even if power is lost and restored.

4.2 Filling the Food Reservoir
The feeder is designed for dry pet food with a diameter of 2-12mm (0.078-0.47 inches).
- Open the top lid of the feeder.
- Pour dry pet food into the reservoir. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness and prevent pets from accessing food prematurely.

4.3 Installing the Desiccant Bag

- Replace the desiccant bag every 1-2 months for optimal freshness.

- Ensure the feeder is placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Align the stainless steel bowl with the food outlet and gently push it into place until secure.
5. Operating Instructions

5.3 Recording a Voice Message
Record a 10-second voice message to call your pet at meal times.
- Press and hold the 'Record' button (often indicated by a microphone icon).
- Speak clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
- Release the 'Record' button to save the message. The message will play automatically during each scheduled feeding.

5.4 Manual Feeding
To dispense a single portion immediately:
- Press the 'Manual Feed' button (often indicated by a food dispensing icon). One portion will be dispensed.
- Press again for additional portions.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Feeder
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper operation.
- Unplug the feeder and remove any batteries.
- Remove the stainless steel feeding bowl for washing with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
