3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Blender

Before first use, fully charge the blender. The blender is equipped with a 4000mAh (2x 2000mAh) battery.

1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the motor base.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB port.
3. The LED lights on the base will indicate the charging status. Charging typically takes 3-5 hours for a full charge.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

3.2 Assembly

1. Ensure the motor base is clean and dry.
2. Place the blender cup onto the motor base.
3. Twist the cup clockwise until the arrow on the cup aligns with the button on the motor base. A green light will indicate proper alignment and secure attachment. If the light is red, the cup is not securely attached.
4. Add your ingredients to the blender cup, ensuring they do not exceed the MAX fill line.
5. Securely close the lid.

4. Operating Instructions

The SHUNSHI Portable Blender offers two blending modes: Blend Mode and Pulse Mode.

4.1 Blend Mode (for Smoothies and Shakes)

1. Ensure the blender is charged and assembled correctly with ingredients inside.
2. Press the power button once to start the blending cycle. The blender will operate for 30 seconds.
3. For optimal blending, gently shake the blender during operation to ensure all ingredients come into contact with the blades.
4. The blender will automatically stop after 30 seconds. You can press the button again to continue blending if needed.

4.2 Pulse Mode (for Harder Ingredients)

Pulse mode is suitable for crushing ice, frozen fruits, nuts, or making salsas and jams.

1. With the blender assembled and ingredients added, quickly double-click the power button. The LED lights will flash yellow, indicating Pulse Mode is active.
2. Press and hold the power button to activate the motor. Release the button to stop pulsing.
3. You can control the blending duration by pressing and releasing the button as desired. The maximum blend time in Pulse Mode is 30 seconds per cycle.
4. If left idle for 5 seconds in Pulse Mode, the blender will automatically revert to Blend Mode.

4.3 After Blending

1. Once blending is complete, you can drink directly from the blender cup.
2. Alternatively, remove the motor base and attach the extra bottom cap to convert the blender cup into a portable bottle.
3. To open the lid for drinking, press the button on the lid to pop it up.
