Introduction

The TELESIN Magnetic Chest Mount kit provides versatile mounting solutions for action cameras and smartphones, enabling hands-free recording from various perspectives. This kit includes a magnetic neck mount, a viscose mount, and a quick-release adapter base, offering flexibility for different activities and environments. Designed for comfort and stability, it allows users to capture moments without interruption.

Setup

1. Magnetic Neck Mount Assembly

1. Connect the magnetic front plate to the magnetic base with the neck strap. Ensure it snaps securely into place.
2. Attach your action camera (e.g., GoPro, Insta360, DJI Action) to the quick release adapter on the magnetic base using the provided locking screw.

2. Viscose Mount Setup

1. For the viscose mount, pull out the cover in the direction of the arrow to expose the adhesive surface.
2. Mount your camera or phone (with a separate phone clip) onto the viscose mount.
3. Attach the viscose mount to a smooth, clean, and dry surface such as a tile, fridge, or glass for shooting.

3. Quick Release Adapter Base for Tripods/Selfie Sticks

1. Attach the quick release adapter base to a tripod or selfie stick with a 3-jaw interface.
2. The magnetic mount can then be quickly connected and released from this adapter base.

Important Notices Before Use:

• For the Viscose mount, ensure you follow the arrow direction to pull out the cover.
• After using the Viscose mount, clean it with fresh water and dry it to maintain strong adhesion.
• The Quick Release Adapter Base is not recommended for extreme activities at high speeds (e.g., snowboarding) where impacts could dislodge the magnetic mount.
• For the magnetic chest mount, wear appropriate clothing thickness to ensure strong and solid magnetic force.
• This kit includes one locking screw. An additional screw may be needed if using both the magnetic mount and quick release adapter base simultaneously.
• Always clean and dry surfaces before attaching magnetic and viscose mounts.

Operating Instructions

1. Wearing the Magnetic Neck Mount

1. Adjust the neck strap to a comfortable length.
2. Place the neck strap around your neck, with the magnetic base positioned on your chest.
3. The magnetic mount can be worn inside or outside clothing. Ensure sufficient clothing thickness for optimal magnetic hold.

2. Adjusting Shooting Perspectives

• The mount allows for 360° rotation, enabling horizontal or vertical shooting.
• The camera can also be flipped up and down 180° for varied angles without needing additional adapters.

3. Hands-Free Recording

Once securely mounted, the TELESIN Magnetic Chest Mount provides a stable platform for hands-free recording, ideal for capturing point-of-view (POV) footage during activities such as mountain biking, baseball, basketball, football, or skiing.

Maintenance

Viscose Mount Cleaning

To ensure the continued strong adhesive function of the viscose mount, clean it with fresh water and allow it to dry after several uses. Store it with its protective cover when not in use.

Magnetic Care

Store the magnetic mount in a cool and ventilated place when not in use for extended periods to prevent demagnetization of the magnets.

Troubleshooting

• Magnetic Mount Not Holding Securely: Ensure the clothing thickness between the magnetic plates is appropriate. Very thick clothing may reduce magnetic strength.
• Viscose Mount Losing Adhesion: Clean the adhesive surface with fresh water and let it air dry. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before application.
• Camera Movement During High-Impact Activities: The quick release adapter base is not designed for extreme high-speed activities. For such uses, consider more robust, fixed mounting solutions.
• Lanyard Slipping/Pinching: Adjust the lanyard length to fit snugly but comfortably. Ensure the plastic parts are not directly pinching skin.
