6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Continuous Loop Recording
The dash cam automatically records video in continuous loops. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten to make space for new recordings. This ensures uninterrupted recording.
6.2 G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)
The integrated G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the settings.
6.3 Parking Mode
The F7NP offers 24/7 parking surveillance. A hardwire kit (sold separately) is required for continuous power to enable parking mode.
- Time-Lapse Recording: Records continuously at a low frame rate, compressing hours of footage into minutes.
- G-Sensor Parking Mode: The camera remains in standby and automatically starts recording for a set duration if an impact is detected.
6.4 Night Vision
Equipped with a STARVIS 2 sensor, F1.5 large aperture, and WDR/HDR technology, the F7NP provides enhanced night vision, capturing clear and balanced footage in low-light conditions.

7. Maintenance
- Memory Card: Regularly format the memory card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-quality, high-endurance microSD card.
- Lens Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the camera lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Device Cleaning: Wipe the dash cam body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water.
- Firmware Updates: Check the REDTIGER official website or app periodically for firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and improvements.
8. Troubleshooting
- Camera not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the car's 12V outlet. Check if the car charger is working.
- Recording issues: Format the memory card. Ensure the memory card is inserted correctly and is not full of locked files. Try a different compatible memory card.
- Wi-Fi connection problems: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the dash cam. Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone. Make sure you are within range of the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal.
- GPS not tracking: Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky. It may take a few minutes for the GPS signal to be acquired after startup.
- Image quality issues: Clean the camera lenses. Adjust the CPL filter if reflections are present. Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
