- UCC Coupon Extended Code
- Code 128, GS1-128, ISBT 128

The scanner's memory can store approximately 2600 Code128 barcodes.
Maintenance and Battery
Charging the Battery
The scanner is equipped with an 1800mAh Li-Ion rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the scanner to a USB power source (computer USB port, USB wall adapter) using the provided USB cable. A full charge typically takes 3 to 4 hours.
A fully charged battery provides approximately 12,000 hours of scan life or up to 100,000 scans, and can operate continuously for about 30 hours.
Cleaning
To clean the scanner, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Troubleshooting
- Scanner not reading barcodes:
- Ensure the scanner is properly connected (wireless receiver plugged in, or USB cable connected).
- Verify the barcode is a 1D type. This scanner cannot read 2D barcodes (e.g., QR code, PDF417) or barcodes from screens (e.g., phone displays).
- Check if the barcode is damaged or poorly printed.
- Ensure the scanning line fully covers the barcode.
- Battery might be low; charge the scanner.
- No data transmitted to computer:
- For wireless connection, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in and the scanner is within range.
- For wired connection, check the USB cable connection at both ends.
- Confirm the scanner is paired (wireless) or recognized by the operating system (wired).
- Incorrect characters or keyboard layout:
- The scanner defaults to US Keyboard layout. If you require a different language layout (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese), please contact NETUM customer service for the appropriate PDF manual with configuration barcodes.
